Player Age Eligibility

As of the 2026-27 season, US Youth Soccer (USYS) players will be grouped according to birthdate instead of birthyear, which aligns more closely with school years. Age groups are shown below.

Players are allowed to play "up" one or two groups (depending on level) but cannot play "down", e.g.: A player eligible to play U10 may play U11. A player eligible for U11 cannot play for U10.

Fall 2026 Recreation Soccer

NSA Spring 2026 Recreation is open to kids from Neptune and surrounding towns from Pre-K to 8th grade, born 10/01/2011 - 04/01/2022.

Games will be played on Saturdays from 9am-noon at Sunshine Park, Neptune. The fall season runs from early April to early June (subject to change.)

NSA Travel Soccer

The NSA is proud to offer one of NJ's most affordable, competitive youth travel soccer programs to make it accessible to as many kids as possible since 1970.

Neptune Soccer Travel is open to boys and girls from Monmouth and Ocean counties in U08 - U18.
