NSA Recreation Soccer offers fall and spring seasons and is open to residents of Neptune Township and surrounding towns in grades Pre-K-8.
The Neptune Soccer Association administers the Neptune Township Recreation Soccer program on behalf of the Township. This program emphasizes fun and the basics of soccer. While teams play games against other teams within the recreation league, individual team standings are not kept and sportsmanship, not winning, is stressed. This program has been highly successful and extremely popular, attracting hundreds of children every season. With approximately 400 participants each season, it is one of the largest recreation program in Neptune Township.

Ages/Divisions
Players for Spring 2024 must be born from 10/01/2009 - 04/01/2020. Due to US Soccer mandates, all teams will be formed based on player birth year, without exception. The divisions will be determined based on the number of participants in age groups.
Where & When
NSA Spring Recreation runs from mid-April through late-May/Early June. Games are played on Saturdays from 9am-1:00pm at Sunshine Village Park fields, 1 Pine Dr, Neptune. Makeup games may be played on weekday evenings. A minimum of one weekly practice will be scheduled by the volunteer coaches.
Registration & Requirements
Spring '24 registration is open from Feb 4 - Mar 23. Each participant will receive a team t-shirt and socks. Shorts, cleats, and shin guards are required for practice and play. NSA reserves the right to close registration for divisions early. Parents and players must READ and ABIDE BY the NSA Parents & Players Code of Conduct.

NSA Recreation Spring '24 Costs & Payments
The goal of the Neptune Soccer Recreation program is to be accessible to as many players as possible. To that end, registration fees are kept low and include various discounts for early registrations and multiple-children families. Hardship applications are available from the Neptune Township Recreation Department.

Be an NSA Recreation Coach or Referee!
Neptune Soccer is always in search of volunteer coaches and paid referees. Refereeing for younger players is an excellent stepping-stone to lucrative Travel/NJYS refereeing and scholarship opportunities.
Recreation coaches must be 18 years or older. Referees can be as young as 13. Participants age 18+ will be subject to Background Checks and will need to complete SafeSport training. Related fees are paid by the NSA.
