Players born from 2008-2017 can contact our Membership Committee to arrange individual tryouts for our travel teams with available roster space.
Neptune Travel Costs & Commitments
The Neptune Soccer Association is About Play, Not Pay. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to making competitive Travel Soccer accessible to all kids who want to play. We don't require a full year (fall + spring) commitment; players register in Aug/Sep and Jan/Feb for each half-season. Our fees are some of the lowest in NJ youth soccer.
Travel is limited to Monmouth and Ocean counties. Teams play only 5 "away" games each season, with drive times averaging 30 minutes.
We are a volunteer organization, and we do ask minimal participation from parents. This includes one weekend per season to help out on a 1-2 hour shack or field shift in fall and spring half-seasons, and one 1-2 hour shift supporting the team during the annual tournament in the spring season. Team coaches may ask for support for fundraising efforts.
Neptune residency is NOT required!

Interested in Being a Travel Coach?
The NSA is always in search of volunteer coaches and paid referees.
NJYS Travel Coaches must be 18 years or older, hold a USYS F License, HeadsUp/ similar Concussion Certificate, SafeSport Certificate, and are subject to background checks.
New applications are being accepted through May 1, 2024, for new 2024-25 coaches.
